Ingredients
- Chicken breast 50g
- Rice 0.5 cups (Japanese rice, approx. 90 grams)
- Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Green onions 3 stalks
- Water 300ml
- Mirin 1 tablespoon
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Taihaku sesame oil 1 teaspoon
- Toasted sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
How to make
- Mix the Taihaku sesame oil with rice.
- Put water in HEGE and add bite-sized pieces of chicken breast. Bring to a boil over low heat.
- Remove any scum, then add grated ginger, salt, mirin, and rice. Boil over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add chopped green onions and mix.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds.
