Please tell me about the usual care method.

・Wash with a sponge and neutral detergent for tableware, and dry thoroughly.
・Please note that using a dishwasher or dryer may cause discoloration.
・Using a metal scrubbing brush, melamine sponge, polishing powder, etc. may cause scratches or discoloration.
・Do not use bleach as it may cause discoloration.
・Do not leave the product with dirt containing salt or oil, or store it in a humid place, as it may cause rust or stains.
・If it gets scorched, fill it with water and bring it to a boil. When the scorched part becomes soft, remove it with a sponge.

Is there a way to deal with it when it gets burnt?

Please use a melamine sponge only if you have severe burns. (Please refrain from frequent use as it may affect the alumite processing.)

Can I use a microwave oven or IH?

Not available.

Can metal cutlery and cooking utensils be used?

Using metal cutlery and cooking utensils may cause scratches, so it is recommended to use softer materials such as wood or nylon resin.

Are there any precautions?

○Please use mittens (pot holders) etc. when cooking.
○Please be careful not to rapidly cool or overheat (deep-fried food) or dry-heat as this may cause damage.
○If you place it on a table while it is hot, it may leave marks, so please use a pot holder etc.

There is a small unevenness on the edge of the product.

When applying HEGE's characteristic alumite processing, small processing marks (on the alumite touch surface) may unavoidably appear on the edges of the product due to the equipment used to support the product. This does not impair quality, but is a characteristic of HEGE. Please understand this before using.

Does it have antibacterial effects?

Antibacterial activity tests were conducted at the Japan Food Research Center and it was found to have antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

*An antibacterial effect is defined as an antibacterial activity value of 2.0 or higher.

please tell me about shipping

Shipping within Japan is free for purchases over 15,000 yen including tax. If it is less than 15,000 yen including tax, 1,000 yen will be charged nationwide.

Why was my order automatically canceled?

If there are suspected issues with the order information in the management system, orders may be automatically canceled.

[Example of an automatically canceled order]
○If the name and phonetic transcription (Furigana) of the customer do not match.
○If there are multiple registrations under the same name, and credit card information, email addresses, phone numbers, etc., are frequently changed.
○If the postal code of the billing address does not match the address registered with the credit card.

Please review the above and place your order again.
※This mainly occurs with credit card payments. If using a credit card is difficult, you can purchase the items via cash on delivery or Amazon Pay.


Can I cancel the ordered items?

We generally cannot accept cancellations or returns due to customer reasons after the items have been shipped. Partial cancellations may be possible for items before they are shipped.
- Cancellation possible: Before shipping
- Cancellation not possible: After shipping complete

The items have been returned to us.

*If we were unable to deliver your ordered items due to your absence, the delivery company will leave a non-delivery notice. Please contact us within 5 days of the notice at the contact provided to arrange a convenient date and time for redelivery.

*Recipient Absence or Address Unknown**: If you cannot receive the package due to an unknown recipient or prolonged absence, the storage period is approximately one week. If you cannot receive the package within the delivery company's storage period, the package will be returned to our store.

*Extended Absence**: If you anticipate being away for an extended period after placing your order, please contact us with your order number or check the shipping confirmation email for the package tracking number. Contact the delivery company to arrange for holding or redirection of the package.

*Refusal of Cash on Delivery (COD) Delivery**: If you refuse to accept a COD delivery, the package will be returned to our store.

Please note: If the package cannot be delivered due to reasons such as expiration of the delivery company's storage period or incorrect address provided by the customer, it will be considered a return due to customer circumstances. In such cases, we are unable to resend the package under any circumstances. If your package is returned to us due to reasons such as expiration of the delivery company's storage period or incorrect address, please contact us via the inquiry form. Additionally, If items are returned to our store, it will be considered a return at the customer's discretion, and we kindly ask that you bear the return shipping fee (domestic shipping ¥1,000, or the shipping fee incurred at the time of dispatch).
